| I have been doing some research.. and I see that there are aftermarket oil restrictors available for these Nissan motors.. --RB20 RB25 HYDRAULIC HEAD
--RB30/25 head HYDRAULIC
--RB30/25 NEO solid lifter head
--GTR RB26 ALL solid lifter
--CA 18 hydraulic
--SR 20 hydraulic
--CA and SR solid lifter conversion
--RB25 NEO
--RB30 single cam the purpose is to restrict oil supply to the heads a bit.. to keep the oil in the sump.. because at high rpm.. the oil pump is working hard and the oil can be getting a surplus supply of oil instead of keeping it where it matters most. I am curious if this is possibly a contributing factor to why we are having issues with rod bearings at higher hp/load/rpm (discounting factors like usings cut cranks, clearances etc) Just wondering.. and I'd like to hear some thoughts..
